A new sponsor means a new name for the NASCAR Xfinity Series' 300-mile spring race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, with qualifying for the LiUNA! set for Friday afternoon. Austin Hill, last year's winner, is off to a hot start in 2024 with wins in each of the season's first two races. Hill's wins at Daytona and Atlanta duplicated his results at those tracks in 2023 and is looking to become the first driver with three straight race wins since Noah Gragson won four in a row in September 2022. The race covers 200 laps, with each of the first two stages 45 laps each and the final stage of the race taking in the last 110 circuits.

Hill reclaimed the lead for the final two laps of last year's race, the last of 14 lead changes, and held off Justin Allgaier by 0.268 seconds for the victory. Last week in Atlanta, Hill became the first driver since Tony Stewart in 2008 to win the first two races of the season, taking advantage in overtime in Atlanta when teammate Jesse Love ran out of fuel.
In the early Xfinity Series standings, Hill is 17 points clear of Sheldon Creed, who has two top-five finishes already. Riley Herbst is 21 points back while Love and Chandler Smith trail by 30. Defending series champion Cole Custer is in 12th place after two races.
Mark Martin won the spring Las Vegas event a record four times between 1999-2011 while Jeff Burton took the checkered flag three times from 2000-07. The last driver to repeat was Kyle Busch, who won in both 2016 and 2019.
